Apoptosis is a programmed and targeted cause of cellular death which occurs naturally. In contrast Necrosis, a form of cell injury which results in premature of death cell, is caused by external factors like infection, toxins or trauma.

Apoptosis is a part of regular activities that are supposed to happen in order to maintain the balance. Where as Necrosis is too a part of a change and it is different from that of Apoptosis. Necrosis should be treated surgically. If not the decomposing dead tissues and cell debris pile up near the site of the cell death.

The damage the dead tissues causes can be fatal. A common surgical method is debridement. Per say if the patient thought surgery is going to very painful and such in other words uncomfortable then what would happen?

The healthy, nourished tissues, cells aren't working as they are supposed to. The surgery sets it right. And what happens after isn't going to be same as before. It's up to you.
